AGGIE

cattle dog + shepherd mix | spayed female | 11 months old | 49 lbs

Aggie's Story

Aggie was a stray when she was captured in October by a high-kill shelter, but her past beyond that is a mystery. Her tail is only 2 inches long, leading us to believe she was abused, or her tail was docked (which we also consider abuse). At the shelter, she was scheduled to be euthanized immediately. But our rescue team took notice of her beauty, both inside and out, and pulled her out just in time.

Get to Know Aggie -

I am still trying to teach Aggie to sit because -bless her heart- she always rolls over on her back instead of sitting! She just wants belly rubs. We are still working on it, but it is adorable. Because of her past, she has low confidence and is therefor very submissive in every situation that is presented to her. I trust that over time, she will overcome that. She has been with me about 2 months so far. She is very obedient, loves humans (wow!), is good with children, dogs and cats. She also loves to be petted. Especially belly rubs!
