ASH
Jindo + Jack Russel Terrier mix | spayed female | 2 years old | 22 lbs

My Story
Ash is a rescue from Jeju Island, South Korea. Due to increased transportation costs, the adoption donation starts at $525 for adult dogs from Jeju Island.
Ash was abandoned at 2 years old and was on a death row when we pulled her from the only animal shelter on Jeju island. It is also a high kill shelter that only gives 10 days to live.
My Personality
Ash is overall a shy dog towards people and other dogs. When you first meet her, it would take about 30 minutes until she comes to you first and asks you to pet her all over her body. Ash likes that you are near and wants to come to you, but she is afraid of being suddenly caught and touched. We think it’s possible Ash was abused before.
She can play with other dogs well, but she rather enjoys her time alone.

OK with other dogs but Ash prefers to be the only dog. Resource guarding - if she is eating a treat and another dog tries to take it away, she will growl.
