My Story
Bailey is a rescue from Jeju Island, South Korea and is only available for adoption in the Bay Area or Northern California. We will consider exceptional applicants further away if you can arrange for your own transportation into SF. Adoption donation is a minimum of $525 for dogs from Jeju Island.
Bailey is one of the 100 dogs that were rescued from a dog meat farm by the help of an organization called Animal Life. The farm was horribly contaminated and the dogs were being fed with disgusting food waste. The dogs were all dehydrated from the hot Summer weather, lack of ventilation and lack of water.
Now Bailey is staying with her foster.
My Personality
When she was rescued, she did not resist being touched and hugged. Overall, she is not afraid of people, but rather likes to be with people. However, she shows some fear towards dogs that are much bigger than her. She likes to be rubbed on her belly and likes to play with squeaky toys. She is a playful, friendly dog.
SOCIALIZATION QUICK FACTS
Comments: Fearful of larger dogs.
She guards her food from other dogs. She would bark at them to keep them away from her food. She does not show fierce aggression.
Has not been tested with cats indoors but ignores cats when passing by outdoors.
