Beth's Story

A feeder was feeding a female stray dog before her puppies were born. Not long, the female dog has gave birth seven puppies, Beth is one of them. So Beth was born from a stray dog and living in the bus parking lot with her mother and sibling. Though they were happy living in the parking lot but it is a dangerous area, four puppies were died by bus hit. Beth’s mother got a hit by bus when she was 2 months old. A volunteer adopted Beth’s mother and named her Boo. Boo’s two legs were fracture badly and made her adopter worries that the left three puppies are still living in the dangerous parking lot and they are very sweet and close to strangers, they might been hit by bus or been caught by animal shelter (please watch video https://youtu.be/OPgET3AWyi0 ). We went to there to take photos for adoption if there are people interested on three of them when they were 5 months. We were very worried for their safety but there is no foster home for them meanwhile no one calls in 2 months. Finally, there are foster home for them, so 7 months old Britney, Bernie and Beth went to foster home to learn everything for adoption. Britney and Bernie were adopted in San Francisco when they were 10 months old, Beth is only left. Beth’s right front limb is crooked suddenly when she was 9 months old, first vet said the bone is osteoporosis below joint that caused by locking nutrition in puppyhood, so the vet suggested to do operation when she is 18 months old.

We took her to visit four different veterinarians for the crooked forelimb when she was one year old, four veterinarians with one voice that Bess is normal without limp to walking and running with crooked forelimb, no needs to be operated just for straighten crooked forelimb. The adopter of Beth should understand and accept the state of her. We hope she will soon be adopted by a loving family where she can be loved and cherished forever. It is when Beth had found her new home then our rescue mission can be continued with other stray dogs.

P.S. The feeder took Beth to vet hospital to spay her. Vet made a cut mark on her right ear after spayed to let other feeders to recognize spayed of her. The feeder has never thought if any chance Beth will be adopted.
