“Cathy is stunning, and looking at her you would never think that she had been through such terrible abuse. She first caught our attention when one of our volunteers spotted Cathy being tied to a running motorcycle. No longer able to keep up with the motorcycle, her legs gave... and she was being dragged by the neck on the street. Our volunteer confronted the abuser and he retorted, “This is my dog and none of your business!”. He then dropped the leash and sped away, probably knowing we would be calling the authorities (Yes, he was found and convicted of animal cruelty!). Cathy’s paws were bleeding, her mouth foaming, her eyes begging for help. She was put in a shelter, but as soon as she was available for adoption we pulled her out. Who could forget such a gorgeous girl who we had made a promise to through her eyes. Her abuser had named her “Cheung Mao”, but we renamed her Cathy to help erase the past and forge a new, brighter future for her.”

She is super sweet-temperament, and beautiful absolutely, she is also very obedience, easy-going and closes to people. She has good behaviors, good with people and kids, good with dogs and cats. She also loves to be petted. She is peace-loving and has a generous heart.

She doesn’t show any hate and unfriendly to human even though she got abused by her owner for one and half years since puppyhood. She is such a wonderful dog! We hope she can be adopted by a loving family where will love and cherishing her forever.”
