COCO

Formosan Mountain Dog + Shiba Inu mix | spayed female | 11 months old | 29 lbs

My Story

We guess that Coco was born to a stray dog since she was found in the mountain area where a volunteer regularly feeds the stray dogs. The volunteer found this 2-m-o puppy with horrible skin condition. The volunteer took her to a non-kill shelter and tried to find home for her via the internet, and we responded to the social media post that we would take in Coco and rehabilitate her so that she can be adopted out. She was placed into a loving foster home. Coco has since been trained to socialize and learned good house manners.

My Personality

Coco had a tough start in life. She used to be shy and reserved when we first met her. It took us a while to gradually bond with her, and then we guided her to interact with humans, other dogs and even cats. Finally, she came out of her shell and quickly learned to appreciate the good feelings of cuddling and showing affection with humans. Coco is a sweet and loving young pup! Now she’s very sociable and comfortable around strangers and new environments. She is calm and stable, follows commands very well. She is well behaved inside the house, with no chewing or barking issues. She is crate trained and potty trained. She enjoys the companion of dogs and cats in her foster home a lot. Her favorite pastime is hanging out with dogs in the park.
