DELIA
sheep dog mix | spayed female | 2 years old | 33 lbs

Delia's Story
“Delia was to be euthanized at an over crowded kill-shelter. Possibly a stray dog before that. We pulled this girl out just in time - She is gentle, friendly and has a very sweet demeanor. At her young age, she has a very long life ahead of her and we are hopeful that she will find a loving forever home to cherish her forever, she will never have to experience hardships again.”
Get to Know Delia
“Delia is so very gentle. When she is scared, the first thing she does is roll over on her back and show her belly. She is friendly and does well meeting strangers, but initially shy (and may show her belly! It’s adorable!). Delia is extremely food-motivated and loves meal time. We actually feed her separately from the other dogs so that she doesn’t get to their food. Has never shown any kind of food aggression with any human or animal, but might decide to eat from another dog’s bowl. She has these beautiful, expressive eyes that just beg to be loved. Or perhaps she just wants another treat! ”
