Lexi's Story
“The first time volunteer saw Lexi in the shelter, it’s hard to not remembering her. With her poor watery eyes and beautiful coats, it’s just impossible to resist the impulse to look at her. In addition, she is very tender and submissive that she always turned her belly up to you for more patting. After 2 months, one young man came to the shelter and decided to take her home. At first, he sent some pictures back to the volunteer. 2 months passed, there is nothing from the young man anymore. At the 3rd month after the adaption, Lexi was found at the sidewalk of a mountain that she was reported back to the shelter. It’s heartbreaking to see Lexi became terribly skinny with skin diseases. That’s why volunteer decided to get this sweet girl out and promised her with a new life and a home forever. During the examination at the Vet and X ray, it’s confirmed that Lexi had been in an accident that her back leg was broken and healed on her own. That’s also why she is a bit limp sometimes but Vet confirmed that there will be no impact on her daily life.”
