PARKER
Poodle | Neutered male | 1 year old | lbs

My Story
Parker’s adoption donation will be a minimum of $650 which will be used to support our rescuer Judy’s private shelter in Taichung, Taiwan where she currently houses 20 dogs.
Poodles were very trendy pets to own in Taiwan just until recently. Now in Taiwan, poodles are no longer the trend so you can find lots of abandoned purebred poodles in shelters. Poodle breeders had to shut down their business and discarded whatever dogs they had left. Judy; our rescuer in Taiwan, took in Parker and two other poodles from a shut down breeder business. One of the poodles Effie, has already been adopted to a loving home in the US.
Judy could not take in the rest of the poodles that were abandoned as resources and space is always limited so they ended up in public shelters in Taiwan.
My Personality
Parker is sweet and friendly to people and other dogs. He stayed in the private shelter for a while waiting for space to open up in a foster home and lived with dogs of all different sizes. He loves to be petted and to receive affection. He has no separation anxiety in his current foster home (most poodles have separation anxiety).
