My Rescue Story

Pat was found at 2 months young as a stray puppy by our volunteers in Taiwan. Pat immediately wagged his tail and wanted to greet them! He was the cutest puppy but the volunteer noticed he had not fully developed the use of his front legs. The vets examined Pat's x-rays and everything checked out, through canine PT, Pat is now running wild with his fellow puppy friends!

My Personality

Pat completed a month of board & train and is now looking for a savvy handler/family.

Pat is a dog that not only needs consistent and healthy boundaries, but also lots of love and help in the form of clear and consistent communication.

Pat’s got so much love to give. He’s so eager to please, perform his tricks, and just wants to be a good boy all the time, but he struggles when boundaries are unclear. Affection and freedom should come in slowly only after that clear communication, expectations, and trust has been established. Pat has already come a long way and for his continuing growth, he needs constant management. His new family/handler should understand that there is no expected timeline of when his training will evolve.

Pat already knows how to walk well on leash. He does well sleeping and resting in a crate and loves to do long stretches and tumble around on grass when he’s on the long leash. He loves his enrichment toys and puzzles. He’s super food motivated and an extremely quick learner. This goofy boy has so much potential. He just needs to find his right people! Pat has been returned twice but he’s worked hard in training and ready for his forever home who understand his needs.
