“Philex’s mother was seen hanging around at the construction sites with a pack of strays. Unfortunately, they were not treated friendly by the workers there. Philex and his sister Sunny were born to this unwelcoming world in summer time. One day, after a heavy downpour, people in the adjacent office building heard puppies wail. The rescuers were notified. On the scene they found two puppies, Philex and his sister Sunny, struggling to stand up in the ditch with running water around them. The mother dog was watching helplessly beside them. With no time wasted, the puppies were picked up and rushed to the hospital. Thankfully, the puppies’ lives pulled through, and the mother dog got spayed and released (TNR).

At foster home, Philex and Sunny were extremely shy in the beginning. It took them almost one year to get used to being around with people. They were making progress to socialize under the loving care in their foster home. Now they are both housebroken, crate trained, can follow simple commands and walk confidently on the street, even mingle with strangers. To people they are familiar with, they can be quite cuddly and playful.
