“I adopted Sienna when she was just 6 months old. She has been my trusted friend and companion since 2009 now and it was a very difficult decision to make. She loves to run, play chase, learn new tricks, hikes, stuffed toys. She’s great in the car and loves tuna and cheese! She loves to cuddle and receive attention once she trusts the person. She once saved me from a mugger in Venice but is not really a protective dog. She is not great with kids, especially toddlers and will nip at them if they charge towards her. She plays with 2-5 year old dogs at the beach and can outrun a lot of them. She gets scared of large dog packs, and will run off for a while but then come back.”

“She has been with my family for several weeks and she is part of our hearts at this point. She greets my husband with tail wagging which he has not gotten from our other animals and I love her nuzzling.
Sienna no longer has the nervous energy she had when she first joined us and has put on a few needed pounds. She loves walking daily (Stern Grove and Fort Fun), is great off leash, and once or twice a week in the evening we take her out again because she loves to be out and about. She is a bit shy, but warmed up to us fairly quickly and now loves to be with us. She is smart and learns quickly. Even though she is seven, she is very healthy and energetic. She is a great companion and I love having her in my home office every. She responds to gentle commands and is eager to please. I know she is the perfect dog for someone. ”

ANY OTHER ISSUES? : No. We are waiving Sienna's adoption fee, because more than anything, we want a loving adopter who will commit to caring for her into her old age. She is completely healthy, you would never guess that she's 7 if you saw her at the park!
