My Story

Todd had a very rough start to his life. He and siblings were born during a typhoon, their mom was a stray and gave birth while hiding underneath some stone steps. The owner found them the next day, but sadly mom passed away a few days later. The homeowner found homes for three of seven puppies and sent other four to animal shelter with the help of a local experienced rescuer. Two of the puppies did not survive, Todd and the remaining puppy were eventually adopted when they were 4 months old. Three years later, the rescuer found Todd was abandoned with a relative who left him chained outside and starved. The rescuer took Todd back and was heartbroken to see how he was scared of outside world. Todd spent another year in several foster homes where he was able to socialize and gain exposure to what it was like to be in a home.

My Personality

Todd has come a long way in just a year; he is no longer skittish and is good on leash (may pull when overly excited). Todd is a super sweet boy; he loves humans, even strangers and kids. He is friendly with dogs and cats (indoor and outdoor). He is housebroken and hasn’t shown any destructive behaviors indoors, and he is crate trained. He is obedient and very calm.
