Xiung's Story
“Xiung (“Xiung” means bear in chinese) was living in cage for 4 years long then finally his owner abandoned him to animal shelter that is high kill rate. Animal shelter likes to keep his life since he is sweet-tempered and has unique coat but animals had been sent to this shelter every day; he will be killed by euthanasia when shelter is not able to accommodate more incoming stray animals.
A rescuer took him away from the shelter before he be killed by euthanasia, then sent him to vet hospital to check his health. His front teeth are short by abrasion, he desires freedom so he bitted cage to try get out of cage. We are not surprised that he got heartworm. His joints of back limbs were bent due to be caged for 4 years. He is recovered from heartworm after treatment. His joints of back limbs are normal after 3 months excise.
He is good looking but hasn’t had a good life in the past. Now he just needs more chances to be seen, people will love his uniqueness. He is staying in foster home over one year already, and he is still waiting for a true love. He deserves to have a wonderful lovely family where he can finally be cherished.”

“Xiung is sweet-tempered and very stable. He is also very obedient. He is little bit shy when he meets strangers, but he will warm up after couple hours then becomes easy-going and closes to people and kids. He is also good with dogs. He loves to be petted.”
